Seattle Seahawks:
Betting odds and lines
The Seattle Seahawks are
a healthy team again and the betting odds make them a favorite
to win this football season.
The
Seattle Seahawks stats from the last football season will tell
you only one thing - even crippled by injuries, this team is
still one of the NFL leaders. The Seahawks were able to reach
playoff, despite the absence of key players such as RB Shaun
Alexander and QB Matt Hasselbeck, and got lucky against Dallas
but lost to Chicago.
But the Seattle Seahawks are health
entering this football season and we'll watch them in their 2005
Super Bowl form. Quarterback Matt Hasselbeck may miss the
departed WR Darrell Jackson (to the 49ers in exchange for a
fourth-round draft choice) and TE Jeramy Stevens, but veterans
such as Bobby Engman and Deion Branch are ready to help. Shaun
Alexander came back during the playoffs last season and proved
he is still one of the best.
In their last preseason game the Seattle
Seahawks came back to defeat the Oakland Raiders 19-14 at Qwest
Field. Seneca Wallace completed 12-of-26 pass attempts for 181
yards with one touchdown and two interceptions for the Seahawks.
And in the third week, the Seahawks dropped the Minnesota
Vikings 30-13. Brooks Bollinger was 6-for-11 for 52 yards and
two interceptions, and Adrian Peterson rushed ten times for 41
yards for the Seahawks.
The betting odds on the Seattle Seahawks
clearly show the value of the now-healthy football team, making
them favorite to win the division. These are the betting odds on the
