NFL point spread:
Chicago Bears vs. Seattle Seahawks, Saints vs. Bills spreads
Yet another exciting NFL week is ahead of us and today we
will start our previews with the point spread and odds on the
Chicago Bears vs. Seattle Seahawks and New Orleans Saints vs.
Buffalo Bills football games. In the first Sunday afternoon
game, the Chicago Bears (1-1) will attempt to bank on the
advantage and momentum gained from their meeting with the
Steelers last week, while the Seattle Seahawks (1-1) will try to
regroup after losing to the 49ers last week by a 13-point
spread. The second NFL game in our preview will match up the New
Orleans Saint (2-0) who are on a roll after plowing through the
Eagles last week in Philadelphia and the Buffalo Bills (1-1) who
also had a nice Week 2, beating Tampa Bay at home 20-33.
We begin our preview of the Week 3
NFL point spread and betting odds with the numbers posted at
the popular online sportsbook
Bookmaker on the Chicago Bears
vs. Seattle Seahawks Sunday football game. At the bookie the
Bears are the favorite team to win this battle, although the
betting odds are quite small at just -130 on a W, while the
Seattle Seahawks will come out on Qwest Field as a small
underdog with odds +110 to win the Week 3 game. The Chicago
Bears vs. Seattle Seahawks point spread is currently at -2
points chalk the Bears with the total set at 37 points by the
betting site. Naturally such a small NFL point spread is
attracting the attention of the football bettors and at this
point the Bears - Saints game is the most bet on event at the
sportsbook with the majority of the bettors taking the Bears to
cover the tiny spread. But keep in mind that betting trends show
that Chicago is 1-5 against the spread in its last 6 games on
the road, although the Seahawks are 2-4 against the spread in
their last 6 games when playing the Chicago Bears. Also, the
total has gone UNDER in 6 of Seattle's last 7 games at home.
Moving on to the second match-up on our
NFL spread and line preview - the New Orleans Saints vs. Buffalo
Bills. Needless to say, the Saints are bringing unexpected joy
to their fans down south, first with an opener victory against
the Lions at home and a big W last week against the Eagles in
Philadelphia. Of course, the betting lines at
Bookmaker are reflecting the
game of New Orleans and the Saints are -270 odds-on favorite in
Week 3, when they travel to New York to meet the Buffalo Bills,
who are big +230 underdog. The New Orleans Saints vs. Buffalo
Bills point spread is set by the odds makers at -6 points
chalk the Saints and the total expected by the sportsbook is a
whopping 52 points. Keep in mind that even though Buffalo is 4-1
against the spread in its last 5 games, the Bills have covered
the spread in just one of their last 6 games at home. The New
Orleans Saints meanwhile are 4-1 against the spread in their
last 5 games on the road and the total has gone OVER in 5 of New
Orleans's last 6 games.
