New Orleans Saints vs. Seattle Seahawks: Line and point spread

New Orleans Saints vs. Seattle Seahawks: Line and point spread Exciting Monday night football game tonight with the New Orleans Saints visiting the Seattle Seahawks, here you will find the latest money line and point spread on the game, along with some important stats. Today the NFL South leaders New Orleans Saints (9-2) will travel to face off the NFC West top dog Seattle Seahawk (10-1) and while the Monday night football game is more important to the Saints, with the Panthers breathing down their neck, odds makers agree that the Seahawks are in a better position to win this game tonight. Let's look at the latest line and point spread on the tonight's game.

For the line on the New Orleans Seattle game we visited two of the best online sportsbooks, Bookmaker and Bovada Sports, where we found little difference in the money line. At Bookmaker the odds are naturally favoring the Seahawks, the Seattle line at -245, while at Bovada the line on the Seahawks is at -240. New Orleans is a big underdog with +205 line to deliver an upset tonight at both sportsbooks. The New Orleans Saints vs. Seattle Seahawks point spread is currently at -6 points chalk the Seahawks at all odds makers and the over-under on the game is at 48 points even.

Looking at the stats we find that New Orleans is 4-2 straight-up in its last 6 games on the road, but just 2-4 in its last 6 games when playing Seattle. The Seahawks are on a 6-game winning streak and have won 13 consecutive games at home. Add to this the fact that the Saints are  2-4 against the spread in their last 6 games when playing the Seahawks and the point spread posted by the odds makers makes perfect sense. The stats also show that the total has gone OVER in 6 of Seattle's last 9 games.

As far as injuries, Seahawks will miss cornerbacks Walter Thurmond and Brandon Browner, wide receiver Percy Harvin remains doubtful for the Monday night football game against the Saints, but another WR, Jermaine Kearse, has been upgraded to probable, along with running back Marshawn Lynch. The New Orleans Saints still have defensive end Glenn Foster listed as questionable for the final Week 13 game, but corner Chris Carr and running back Darren Sproles were both upgraded to probable for the game against Seattle tonight.
