Super Bowl Odds: 2014 Super Bowl point spread and odds

Super Bowl Odds: 2014 Super Bowl point spread and odds The 2014 Super Bowl kick off is less than a day away and now it's time to look at the odds, point spread and money line on the Super Bowl game this Sunday. Scheduled to be played in New Jersey on Feb. 2nd, keep in mind that if due to severe weather the Super Bowl is moved or postponed - all open bets will stand at all the sportsbooks we have visited to check the odds and spread on the 2014 Super Bowl. So let's look at the line and point spread as posted by some of the most popular USA online sportsbooks.

Starting with the odds at Bookmaker, we find the Denver Broncos still pretty decent favorite with odds -134 to win the game on Sunday, while the line on the Seattle Seahawks is at +114. As you can see, we have entered the stage, when betting patterns (the way people bet at the sportsbook) are playing bigger and bigger role in shaping the Super Bowl odds. So as more people place their bets one way or another, the line will be moving by a single point up and down, as it is the case with the Super Bowl odds Bookmaker is offering at the moment. Regardless of those small movements, it's clear that the Broncos are and will be the favorite of the odds makers come kickoff time this Sunday. The Super Bowl point spread here is at -2.5 points chalk Denver, yet another slight movement of the line. Earlier though the week, the point spread was holding steady at -2 points in favor of the Denver Broncos, but as more bettors take that line of betting - the spread has increased by a half point. We can expect that for the remaining time until 214 Super Bowl kickoff time the spread should move half a point either way. The over-under on the game at Bookmaker continues to be set at 48 points.

As always, we prefer to compare odds, it's always good to shop around the top sportsbooks, so we visited Bovada Sports, another sportsbook famous among the US bettors. At Bovada the 2014 Super Bowl odds are also in favor of Denver to win, but the line on the Broncos is even higher up at -140. The Seattle Seahawks are underdog with odds +120 on an upset on Sunday and becoming the 2014 NFL Champions. Apparently betting has been quite leveled at Bovada, since the sportsbook opened the Super Bowl odds with those lines. The Super Bowl point spread here has also remained unchanged at -3 points chalk the Broncos and the total for over/under betting is also at 48 points, although "under" is paying less at just -115.

As you can see, the sportsbooks are pretty much inline, when it comes to the 2014 Super Bowl odds to win, as well as the point spread. Small variations do exist between the top odds makers, which is great for the bettors, giving them more options to shop the line and spread and improve their return.
