Tide back in the top 25, favorite against Georgia
Alabama Crimson Tide is back
in the AP top 25 at No. 16, spread favorite against Georgia on
Saturday.
The
Alabama Crimson Tide are back in the Associated Press top 25
college football teams, for the first time since the 2005
season. Led by head coach Nick Saban, snatched from the Miami
Dolphins on $4 million contract, Alabama won a major victory
against Arkansas at home last Saturday 41-38 for a record of
3-0. The win allowed the Alabama Crimson Tide to rejoin the AP
top 25 at No. 16 with 516 total poll votes.
On Saturday in Week 4 of college
football, the Alabama Crimson Tide will welcome No. 22 Georgia
Bulldogs (2-1) at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Alabama is already -4
favorite on the spread at
Bookmaker against Georgia, who
climbed up one spot from their previous AP 25 ranking at No. 23.
Another three new teams entered the AP top 25 college football
poll after Week 3. The Kentucky Wildcats are at No. 21, the
South Florida Bulls at No. 23 and the Missouri Tigers at No. 25.
Southern Cal is still the No.1, 28 votes ahead of the No. 2 LSU.
