Premier League:
Tottenham draws with Liverpool, Arsenal regains lead
Liverpool kept their unbeaten
Premiership record after a 2-2 against Tottenham, Arsenal back
atop of the Premier League table after 3-2 against Sunderland.
On
Sunday Liverpool welcomed the struggling team of Tottenham and
surprised many bettors with a 2-2 draw. The game was well on its
way for a Tottenham victory until the last minute, when a goal
by Torres shuttered the high hopes of the Spurs. Voronin opened
the score in the 12' minute for an early Liverpool lead but two
goals by Keane, one before the break and one right after,
quickly changed the mood of the 40,000+ Liverpool supporters at
Anfield. Dimitar Berbatov kept the Reds alert throughout the
game, but the Bulgarian striker had no luck scoring and the
Spurs went home without the much anticipated first away-win this
season. Final score Liverpool 2 - 2 Tottenham.

Another close call in the Premier League
this Sunday was the game between Arsenal and the visiting
Sunderland. In front of 60,000+ attendees at the Emirates
Stadium, the Gunners took a two-goal early lead thanks to Van
Persie (7') and Senderos (14'). By the 15th minute of the game
it seemed that the match was a done deal for Arsenal, but a
score by Wallace in the 25' and Jones three minutes after the
break had the Gunners looking to regain the lead. Which they
found in the 80' when a pass by Walcott found Van Persie for the
winning goal. Final result Arsenal 3 - 2 Sunderland.
