Spread and odds: Arkansas vs. Tennessee, Alabama vs. Mississippi State

Our point spread and betting odds on the college football Week 11 games continue with Alabama vs. Mississippi State and Arkansas at Tennessee.

Spread and odds: Arkansas vs. Tennessee, Alabama vs. Mississippi State Week 11 will be very exciting for the college football bettor and we continue the betting preview of the top-tier games with Arkansas (6-3) against Tennessee (6-3) on Saturday. At the online betting company Bookmaker, this game is left up to you, both the Razorbacks and the Vols are listed with odds -110. The point spread on the Arkansas vs. Tennessee game is a pick, i.e. the spread is 0 points. Great chance to double down on your bet, because whoever wins the game, automatically covers the spread. Looking at the numbers in the past, Arkansas is 8-3 against the spread in its last 11 games on the road and Tennessee is 4-1-1 ATS in its last 6 games.

It seems that the Vols will be more motivated to win, with home advantage and a moral-boosting victory last week against Louisiana-Lafayette 59-7, the No.22 Tennessee is closing in on Georgia in the SEC East and must give 100% to win against Arkansas, who also come from a great victory against Mississippi 44-8. The Razorbacks are statistically way ahead of the Vols, leading SEC in total offense with 487.6 yards on average and points scored at 41.1 per game. In Arkansas WR London Crawford is questionable for the game, running back Michael Smith is out indefinitely due to suspension, and another wide receiver, Crosby Tuck, is out for the season with arm injury. Tennessee will play without DT Chase Nelson, TE Brad Cottam, and CBs Marsalous Johnson and Antonio Gaines. Wide receiver Austin Rogers remains questionable for the Week 11 game against Arkansas.

The Saturday college football game between Alabama (6-3) and Mississippi State (5-4) is promising a better payout. Bookmaker has picked Alabama Crimson Tide as the favorite to win the Week 11 game with odds -190 and Mississippi State is listed with betting odds +160. The point spread on the Alabama vs. Mississippi State game is currently sitting at -4.5 points chalk the Crimson Tide with total of 50.5 points. Betting trends show that Alabama is 6-2 against the spread in its last 8 games on the road, but Mississippi State is 8-3 ATS in its last 11 games when playing Alabama.

The No.21 Alabama had a good game going last week against LSU, but a few mistakes and a turnover in the last minutes took the victory away from Crimson Tide 41-34. Coach Nick Saban said he will look to capitalize on the lesson learned from the game against LSU and promised the team will be ready for the Bulldogs. And they have to win, if they want to keep their ranking. But Mississippi State should not be underestimated, coming out of a bye week after a 31-14 win  against Kentucky. Only DB Chris Nance is questionable for Week 11 at the Bulldogs, but at Alabama DBs Chris Rogers and Marquis Johnson, DL Marlon Davis and RB Glen Coffee remain out indefinitely with suspensions. Overall Alabama has a better chance in the SEC West and they do so for a reason, our pick is that Alabama will easily cover the -4.5 spread this weekend.
