College football
Week 11 spread: Ohio State, Arizona State, Miami
The point spread and preview
of the college football Week 11 games Illinois vs. Ohio State,
Arizona State vs. UCLA and Virginia vs. Miami.
Our
point spread and betting preview of the Week 11 college football
games continue with the match-up between Illinois (7-3)
and No.1 Ohio State (10-0). Everyone is wondering if the
Buckeyes will lose a game this season and if they do, to whom.
It will be a tough job for Illinois to fulfill this role in the
BIG-10 game. At
Bookmaker Ohio State are the given favorite with
odds on winning this game at -650 and Illinois is underdog for a
first time in a while with odds +525. The point spread on the
Illinois vs. Ohio State game is currently favoring the
Buckeyes -14.5 points (-16 points at
Bodog Sports) and the total
is at 45 points. Ohio State is 4-1 against the spread in its
last 5 games and Illinois is 6-2 ATS in its last 8 games on the
road. It's doubtful, however, that Ohio State will be able to
cover the spread.
On Saturday No.8 Arizona State (8-1) is
going to UCLA (5-4) and the odds don't look good for the Bruins.
The Sun Devils are listed as favorite at
Bookmaker with betting
odds -275 and the hosting UCLA are underdog at +235. The point
spread on the Arizona State vs. UCLA game is sitting at -7
points chalk the Sun Devils and the total is 51 points. Arizona
State is 4-2 against the spread in its last 6 games, but UCLA is
12-4 ATS in its last 16 games at home. UCLA has a long, long
list of injuries which will prevent a number of players from
participating in the Week 11 game, including QBs Patrick Cowan
and Ben Olson, WRs Marcus Everett and Gavin Ketchum, and lots of
defensive personnel. Arizona State is overall healthy, only RB
Jarrell Woods is questionable for the game against UCLA, the Sun
Devils should have no problem covering the spread.
The Week 11 college football game
between Virginia (8-2) and Miami (5-4) is a great opportunity
for the bettors this weekend. At
Bookmaker Miami is favorite to
win the game with odds -170 and Virginia is dog at +150. The point spread on the Virginia vs. Miami game is favoring the
Hurricanes -4 points with total 41 points. Virginia is 1-4
against the spread in its last 5 games and Miami is also 1-4 ATS
in its last 5 games. We think that this game will go against the
bookies and Miami will not only fail to cover the spread, but
lose the game, as well. Injuries are the biggest problem here
and although Miami's quarterback Kyle Wright has been upgraded
to probable, WR Lance Leggett is questionable and WR Jermaine
McKenzie is out. DT Josh Holmes and CB Carlos Armour are also
questionable, but RB Charlie Jones, DT Dwayne Hendricks, and LBs
Glenn Cook and Romeo Davis are all out indefinitely, due to
injuries.
