College football
spreads: USC vs. Cal, Kansas at Oklahoma State
Betting preview and point
spread on the college football games in Week 11 USC vs.
California and Kansas vs. Oklahoma State.
We
will close our Week 11 college football preview with the point
spread and the betting odds on two tough games, starting with
the match-up between No.12 USC (7-2) and No. 24
California (6-3). The last time these two teams met, USC won
23-9 and the odds makers are expecting another victory for
Southern Cal. At
Bookmaker USC is favorite with
odds -175 and the Golden Bears are underdog with betting odds
+155. The point spread on the USC vs. California is
currently sitting at -4 points chalk the Trojans and the total
is posted at 50.5 points. Southern Cal is 10-5 against the
spread in its last 15 games and California is 3-6 ATS in its
last 9 games at home. The total has gone OVER in 8 of
California's last 11 games at home.
USC is trailing behind Oregon and
Arizona State in the PAC-10, but California still has a chance
(statistically) to get to the top, as well. For the Golden Bears
only DB Marcus Ezeff and DL Rulon Davis remain questionable for
the game on Saturday. At USC the list of injuried players is a
little longer - DE Trey Henderson, Ts Sam Baker and Thomas
Herring remain questionable for the game against California, WR
Jamere Holland RB C.J. Gable and CB Josh Pinkard are all out for
the season. But California failed to put numbers at home in
their 17-20 victory against the last in the PAC-10 standings
Washington State, whereas USC won 3-24 against the better Oregon
State. Overall, the Trojans should be able to cover the -4
points spread.
And finally, let's look at the No.5
Kansas (9-0) at Oklahoma State (5-4) Week 11 college
football game. The Jayhawks have not been getting the attention
they deserve despite the so far perfect record. But
Bookmaker has listed them with
odds -255 as favorite to win yet another game and Oklahoma State
will be dog at home with betting odds sitting at +215. The
point spread on the Kansas vs. Oklahoma State is posted at
-6 points chalk the Jayhawks and the total is set down at 67
points. Kansas is 5-0 against the spread in its last 5 games,
but Oklahoma State is 5-0 ATS in its last 5 games when playing
Kansas. The Jayhawks have no injuries to report this week and at
Oklahoma State only LBs Jeremy Nethon and Chris Collins remain
questionable with injuries.
