NFL point spread:
Browns vs. Steelers, Buffalo at Miami
Betting preview and point
spread on the Week 10 NFL games Cleveland Browns vs. Pittsburgh
Steelers and Buffalo Bills vs. Miami Dolphins.
Our
point spread and odds preview of the Week 10 football games
continue with the AFC North top-gun match-up between the
Cleveland Browns (5-3) and the Pittsburgh Steelers
(6-2). At
Bookmaker the Steelers are the
odds favorite with a money line -525 and the Browns are listed
with betting odds +425. The point spread on the Cleveland
Browns vs. Pittsburgh Steelers game is currently sitting at
-10 points chalk the Steelers at
Bodog Sports with total at 47.5
points. Betting trends show that Cleveland is 6-1 against the
spread in its last 7 games and Pittsburgh is 7-2 ATS in its last
9 games.
Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger
was injured during the 38-7 victory against the Ravens last
week, but is expected to play on Sunday and strong offense is
what the Steelers need in this Week 10 game. Pittsburgh is
already leading the NFL in defense with 237.8 yards and 12.3
points allowed on average per game and when Roethlisberger
connects with Holmes it would be easy to overcome the 32nd
ranked Browns defense, which allows on average 410.9 yards and
29.1 points. The Browns are just a win away from tying with the
Steelers in the AFC North, but their weak defense will open
plenty of room for Pittsburgh and the Steelers should have no
problem covering the -10 point spread on home turf.
The next Week 10 NFL game we will look
at is the Buffalo Bills (4-4) visiting the struggling
Miami Dolphins (0-8). Will the Dolphins finally get their
first win for the season? The odds makers don't think so. At
Bookmaker the Bills are
favorite with odds -145 and the Dolphins will be underdog once
again with betting odds on winning the game at +125. The
point spread on the Buffalo Bills vs. Miami Dolphins game is
posted at -3 points chalk the Dolphins at
Bodog Sports and the total is
sitting at 41 points. Buffalo is 5-0 against the spread in its
last 5 games and Miami is 1-4 against the spread in its last 5
games at home.
Buffalo is coming out of a 21-33 win
against the Bengals last week and hold the second spot in the
AFC East, but with the Patriots atop, there is no room for going
higher. At the bottom two spots are the Jets and the Dolphins,
who matched up two week sago in London and the Dolphins gave the
Jets their only win this season. Even at 0-6 many believed that
Miami has given up on this season and is already looking forward
to 2008, and now at 0-8 the only goal the Dolphins have is
not to finish 0-16. Statistically the Dolphins have a very good
chance of beating the Bills this Sunday, offensively outscoring
Buffalo with 322.1 yards and 20.8 points per game, but the Bills
allow only 19.5 points compared to Dolphins 30.5 points per
game. When the Bills win, they usually do so by an average of a
touchdown and have lined up games against the Pats, Jags and the
Redskins, so the visit to Miami is their best chance to get a W
before they see some Ls.
