College football
big spread: Boise State and Kansas leading the pack
The biggest point spread in
Week 12 of college football is currently on the games Idaho vs.
Boise State and Iowa State vs. Kansas.
We
will start the Saturday college football Week 12 betting preview
with the two games carrying the biggest point spread this
weekend. First the top spread, Idaho (1-9) will visit No.
17 Boise State (9-1) and attempt to break the losing
streak hanging over the team, which is the most unlikely event
this weekend. At the online betting company
Bodog Sports, the point
spread on the Idaho vs. Boise State game is currently
sitting at -34 points chalk the Broncos, which is a clear
indication of the condition these two WAC teams are in. Last
week Boise State ran over Utah State (0-10) for a 52-0 victory
and the game against Idaho won't fall far, considering Boise
State is playing at home. Broncos RB Jeremy Avery and LB Dallas
Dobbs remain questionable for Week 12, but this will hardly
affect the outcome of the game. Idaho is also the ultimate
underdog by odds, posted at +4000 to win the game at
Bookmaker, meaning the bookie
will pay 4,000 for every 100 bet, granted Idaho wins. Keep in
mind that Boise State is 5-2 against the spread in its last 7
games.
The game between Iowa State (3-8)
and No.4 Kansas (10-0) hold a slightly smaller spread,
but not by much. At
Bodog Sports the point
spread on the Iowa State vs. Kansas is posted at -26.5
points chalk Kansas and with 45.9 points scored on average per
game (second in the NCAA), the Jayhawks should have no problem
covering the spread against Iowa State's 134th ranked defense.
Iowa State is at the bottom and Kansas atop of the BIG 12 North
and will stay that way after Week 12. If you are fan of the
extreme betting, the odds on Iowa State to win the game at
Bookmaker are sitting at +1400. Iowa State is 4-1 against the
spread in its last 5 games and Kansas is 5-0 against the spread
in its last 5 games.
