NFL point
spread: Saints vs. Panthers, Titans vs. Bengals
The Week 12 NFL point spread
and preview of the games New Orleans Saints vs. Carolina
Panthers and Tennessee Titans vs. Cincinnati Bengals.
We will start this edition of the NFL Week 12 point spread
and odds preview with the New Orleans Saints (4-6) and their visit to
the Carolina Panthers (4-6). When these two football teams met last
month the Panthers won the match-up 16-13. But now Carolina is
on their 4-game losing streak and the bookies are siding with
the Saints on this one. At the online betting firm
Bodog Sports
the point spread on the New Orleans Saints vs. Carolina Panthers
game is currently sitting at -3 points chalk the Saints. With
the Panthers and the Saints 4-6 records, the teams are sharing
the middle of the NFC South and each has a shot at the division
title, top spot currently occupied by the Buccaneers at 6-4.
Panthers running back DeShaun Foster and defensive tackle
Damione Lewis have been upgraded to probable this weekend, but
Saints star running back Reggie Bush is still questionable for
the game against Carolina due to shin injury. Keep in mind that
New Orleans is 3-10 against the spread in its last 13 games and
Carolina is 1-4 against the spread in its last 5 games.
Also on Sunday the Tennessee Titans
(6-4) will visit the Cincinnati Bengals (3-7) for a shot at the
playoffs after losing their last two games. Not much improvement
in the Cincinnati team and the Bengals gave away the home game
last week against the Cardinals.
Bodog Sports is expecting a
repeat and the point spread on the Tennessee Titans vs.
Cincinnati Bengals is favoring Tennessee -1.5 points.
Questionable for the Titans remain wide receiver Ahmard Hall,
defensive tackle Albert Haynesworth and defensive end Travis
LaBoy. Cincinnati are doing a little better, upgraded to
probable were wide receivers Glenn Holt and T.J. Houshmandzadeh,
linebackers Rashad Jeanty and Landon Johnson, as well as
safeties Herana-Daze Jones and Marvin White. Keep in mind that
Tennessee is 2-5 against the spread in its last 7 games and
Cincinnati is 2-6-1 against the spread in its last 9 games.
