Football point
spread: Denver at Chicago, Raiders vs. Chiefs
Preview of the odds and point
spread of the Week 12 football games Denver Broncos vs. Chicago
Bears and Oakland Raiders vs. Kansas City Chiefs.
We
continue our point spread and football game preview of the Week
12 match-ups with some good numbers for the punters. On Sunday
the Denver Broncos (5-5) will play the Chicago Bears
(4-6) to continue the fight for the AFC West leadership. The
Broncos are tied with the Chargers for the No.1 spot, meanwhile
the Bears are tied with the Vikings at the bottom of the NFC
North with little chance to raise a bid for the playoffs. But at
the online bookmaker
Bodog Sports, the point
spread on the Denver Broncos vs. Chicago Bears game is
favoring the Bears -1 point. Keep pin mind that this spread is
expected to change, likely to "pick", by Sunday.
Injuries will likely play the major role
in the game, still questionable for the Broncos are running
backs Paul Smith, Travis Henry and Selvin Young, as well as wide
receiver Javon Walker. This could change the outcome of the game
and give the Bears the much needed edge offensively to win the
game. In Chicago questionable for the game against the Broncos
are DT Tommie Harris, CB Trumaine McBride and RB Jason McKie,
while wide receiver Bernard Berrian was upgraded to probable.
Betting trends show that Chicago is 0-5 against the spread in
its last 5 games at home and Denver is 2-6 against the spread in
its last 8 games on the road.
The Week 12 football game between the
Oakland Raiders (2-8) and the Kansas City Chiefs
(4-6) is much more predictable. No one remembers when was the
last time the Raiders were favorite this season and they
certainly won't be this weekend. At
Bodog Sports the point
spread on the Oakland Raiders vs. Kansas City Chiefs is
currently sitting at -6 points chalk the Chiefs with expected
total of 34.5 points. The Raiders will be underdog at the odds
section as well, listed with money line of +200 and the Chiefs
are odds favorite at -240. When the last time these two football
teams met this season, the Chiefs won the game 12-10 on the
road, and since nothing has changed for each one during the
season, at home Kansas City should have no problem covering the
-6 points spread in this AFC West battle. Consider that Oakland
is 1-5 against the spread in its last 6 games and Kansas City is
2-5-1 against the spread in its last 8 games when playing at
home against Oakland
