Amy Winehouse
cancels all remaining 2007 concerts
Amy Winehouse has cancelled
all of her 2007 concerts, following advice from her doctors.
British singer Amy Winehouse is reportedly canceling the rest of
her 2007 concerts and shows, following an advice from her
doctors to take full rest. Among the cancelled performances are
those in Bournemouth, Dublin, Belfast, Manchester and London.
The tickets will now be refunded and at this time no plans for
re-scheduling the gigs have been made. "In the interests of her
health and wellbeing, Amy has been ordered to take complete rest
and deal with her health issues," read statement issued by Amy Winehouse concert promoter Live Nation.
"I can't give it my all on stage without
my Blake. I'm so sorry but I don't want to do the shows
half-heartedly. I love singing. My husband is everything to me
and without him it's just not the same," Amy Winehouse was
quoted saying. Blake Fielder-Civil is currently in custody on
assault and perverting the course of justice charges, stemming
from a pub fight earlier this year. The online sportsbook
Bodog Sports continues to offer
betting odds on what will happen next to Amy Winehouse and
"getting arrested for possession or DUI" is the favorite bet
with odds 5/6. The least possible thing is for Amy Winehouse to
be dropped by her label - odds on this sitting at 6/1.
