The "home girl" Zhang Zilin became the 57th Miss World in Sanya, China, in front of the partisan audience. At the beginning the British bookmaker Bet 365 was offering odds on Miss China at 13/2, but quickly made the Chinese contestant the favorite and the latest odds on Miss China were posted at 7/4. Miss Angola came second and Miss Mexico finished third in the Miss World 2007 beauty pageant on Saturday. The other two finalists were Miss Trinidad & Tobago and Miss Sweden. According to some reports, over 2 billion people tune in to watch the Miss World 2007.
