Line and point
spread: Dallas at Detroit, Raiders vs. Packers
Point spread and betting lines
on the the upcoming NFL Week 14 games Dallas Cowboys vs. Detroit
Lions and Oakland Raiders vs. Green Bay Packers.
Let's look at two of the Week 14 football games with large point
spread and lines. First, the Dallas Cowboys (11-1) will
visit the Detroit Lions (6-6), the latter started the
season great, but are on their 4-game losing streak and will try
to break out of it and get back into the race to the playoffs.
The Cowboys are already the first team to secure their playoff
berth, but this won't easy them against the Lions on Sunday.
Last year the Lions won 36-31 against the Cowboys, but the
bookmakers are naturally favoring the 'Boys in the Week 14
matchup. At
Bodog Sports the point
spread on the Dallas Cowboys vs. Detroit Lions is posted at
-11 points chalk the Cowboys with total sitting at 51.5 points.
The betting line on the Cowboys is listed at
Bookmaker at -575 and the Lions
will be underdog once again with money line +475. Dallas is 5-1
against the spread in its last 6 games and Detroit is 1-4
against the spread in its last 5 games.
Another game with big betting numbers this
Sunday is the matchup between the Oakland Raiders (4-8)
and the Green Bay Packers (10-2). The Raiders took much
needed W against the Broncos 20-34 last week, taking some
pressure off the AFC West leader, the San Diego Chargers.
Oakland will use this momentum in the game against the Packers
on Sunday, but with Brett Farve good to go for the game, the
odds makers have made Green Bay one of the big favorite in Week
14. The point spread for the Oakland Raiders vs. Green Bay
Packers game is favoring the Packers -10.5 points at
Bodog Sports with total posted
at 41 points. The betting line on the Green Bay Packers is
sitting at -500 at
Bookmaker and the line on the
Raiders is +400. Betting trends show that Oakland is 4-2 against
the spread in its last 6 games on the road and Green Bay is
4-1-1 against the spread in its last 6 games at home.
