Starting with Ayr Racecourse, start
times on Monday are 12.30, 1.00, 1.30, 2.05, 2.35, 3.05 and
3.35. The 12:30 race overview: An interesting opener where
Andytown, Save the Bacon and Compromiznotension look three to
concentrate on and the vote goes to Andytown. Nicky Richards'
runner dropped back from two-and-a-half miles to this sort of
trip when runner-up to Tot O'Whiskey at Hexham last time and in
doing so showed improved form. Some cut clearly suits and that
form was good in the context of this contest so with likely
improvement he gets the nod. Save The Bacon is another potential
improver and coming from the Tony Martin yard he is very much
respected. He has had a long break and changed yards since
finishing runner-up at Perth in May, and he looks likely to go
well. Compromiznotension is rated 79 on the level where he
represented Ian Semple. Now with Howard Johnson, his hurdles
debut was respectable enough at Kelso and if he truly sees out
this trip, as one who was really a miler on the flat, then he
could be thereabouts. Greenbelt is another to look out for after
going well for a long way in an above average Carlisle contest,
but Andytown is the one for us.

At Plumpton Racecourse, on Monday
we've got 7 starts: at 12.20, 12.50, 1.20, 1.55, 2.25, 2.55 and
at 3.25. Here is the preview and betting odds on the 12:20 race
at Plumpton: Daltaban, Caoba, Bathwick Breeze and Hawk Gold make
the shortlist here with Bathwick Breeze the selection. Hawk Gold
was a modest maiden on the Flat rated 47 but ran a blinder first
time over hurdles, finishing a close runner-up at a big price.
That was only a claiming contest but he is capable of playing a
part here as he clearly jumps well. Daltaban was a winner on the
Flat in France but showed his first signs of ability over
hurdles when a fast finishing second at Folkestone. He appeared
to need every yard of the two and a quarter miles that day so
this reversion to the minimum trip may not suit. Caoba looks one
of Philip Hobbs' lesser lights, and she was only placed in a
claimer on the Flat in France. She was in mid division when
unfancied on her hurdling bow and is taken on. Bathwick Breeze
tried to make all the running last time before fading in the
closing stages behind Yellow Jersey but had earlier beaten
subsequent winner Serabad by a convincing four lengths. He is
taking on some modest performers here and Bathwick Breeze can
resume winning ways. See more odds at

And finally, the Wolverhampton
Racecourse will hold six races on Monday: at 1.10, 1.45,
2.15, 2.45, 3.15 and at 3.45. Here are the odds and betting
preview of the Wolverhampton 1.10 race: A trappy contest gets
proceedings underway but something has to win and the principals
look to be Ai Hawa, Almora Guru and Komreyev Star and the vote
is given to Ai Hawa. The selection won well last time out when
beating Sion Hill, he again has conditions to suit and from a
good draw he looks the one to be on. Almora Guru rates the main
danger on his latest third behind Arctic Desert his yard
continue ibn good form and he will not be far away. Komreyev
Star is another that could go well as he has dropped to a handy
mark but he is becomming hard to win with. Keon is another that
could go well but he looks weighted up to his best. Of the
others Wizby has the ability to go close off this kind of mark
but does not always like to use it and with this in mind for the
winner we return to Ai Hawa to small stakes.
