The 16-year-old sister of
singer Britney Spears, Jamie Lynn Spears, is pregnant, reports
indicate.

16-year-old Jamie Lynn Spears, sister of pop star Britney
Spears, is pregnant, according to OK! Magazine. Jamie Lynn
Spears told the magazine, during an interview which should hit
the stands tomorrow, that she is indeed expecting a baby. Jamie
Lynn says that the baby's father is her long-time boyfriend
Casey Aldridge, whom she met at church, and she will keep the
baby. She also revealed to the magazine that she is yet to tell

Jamie Lynn Spears is best known for starring in
the Nickelodeon television series Zoey 101, besides being
Britney Spears' sister. In 2006, Spears won a Nickelodeon Kids'
Choice Awards blimp for best Female TV Star and best TV Female
Actress. Nickelodeon issued the following statement: "We
respect Jamie Lynn's decision to take responsibility in this
sensitive and personal situation. We know this is a very
difficult time for her and her family, and our primary concern
right now is for Jamie Lynn's well being."
