2008 NFL Draft
order
The NFL Draft order is almost
complete, all is left - the tiebreakers coin flip to straighten
it out.
Now
that the regular season football games are over, we know the
basic 2008 NFL Draft order, except the five tied teams, which
will be determined by the NFL coin flip, as their strength of
schedule this season was identical. A few things should be noted
first, such as the pick trades and already used draft picks in
the Round 1. Since the Patriots qualified for the playoffs, as
penalty for videotaping defensive signals in their season opener
against the New York Jets, the Patriots forfeited their
first-round pick, but the New England Patriots will keep the
pick, since the San Francisco 49ers traded their first-round
selection in 2008 to the Pats. The Cleveland Browns traded their
first-round selection in the 2008 Draft to the Dallas Cowboys in
order to to select Brady Quinn in 2007. And the Indianapolis
Colts traded their first-round selection in 2008 to the San
Francisco 49ers last season. Another thing to keep in mind -
Tennessee Titans traded an undisclosed draft pick in 2008 to
Seattle for defensive end Bryce Fisher and Tampa Bay Buccaneers
traded two different undisclosed draft picks in 2008 to Kansas
City Chiefs for nose tackle Ryan Sims and running back Michael
Bennett.
