Tom Brady wearing a cast, serious leg injury rumored

New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady caught wearing a cast on his leg while in New York.

Tom Brady wearing a cast, serious leg injury rumored The New England Patriots may be in serious Super Bowl trouble, after the popular gossip website TMZ published pictures of their quarterback and top-weapon, Tom Brady, wearing a walking cast. According to reports, Tom Brady was photographed with the cast on his leg, while visiting his girlfriend's (Gisele Bundchen) apartment in New York City. Visit TMZ for more pictures and video of Brady limping around NY City.

The injury could be a big problem for the perfect Pats, going the 2008 Super Bowl and making history while doing it. Tom Brady hinted about an injury during the 12-21 victory over the Chargers last week, quote: "Ah, you know, there's always bumps and bruises. I'll be ready for the Super Bowl. I'm not worried about that. I'm not missing this one. I'd have to be on a stretcher to miss this one. There will be treatment this week. In games like this, you get a little nicked up. It's nothing serious."

But the bettors are taking every little opportunity they get and in the course of a few hours the New York Giants became the favorite pick of the punters at the online betting company Bookmaker, making the Giants the most bet on team this week. And with this betting action, the point spread is already down by half a point - the Patriots opened this week -12.5 points favorite against the spread and are now down to -12 (the point spread at Bodog Sports is already down to -11.5 chalk the Pats), if the bets on the NY Giants continue to pour in, the 2008 Super Bowl point spread will likely fall down to single digits.
