Injured New England Patriots

The
New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady took part in the
Monday practice of the team, although his right ankle was taped
before the practice started. Despite the injury, which now
appears to be a mild one, Brady did a full practice, including
the jogging at the end of the drills. The Patriots Monday
practice was short, less than two hours and even though coach
Bill Belichick declined to comment on Tom Brady's injury, he
said that all players practiced and the people will know the
real team's condition on Wednesday, when the injury report will
be out. Neither the Patriots nor the Giants will practice on
Tuesday, which is media day. At the online sportsbook
Bodog Sports, the New England
Patriots remain favorite to win the Super Bowl game with odds
-480 and are -11.5 points against the spread.
Meanwhile Patriots wide receiver Randy Moss
is still in a legal limbo. The temporary restraining order
issued against him was extended on Monday until March 28th. The
restraining order against Randy Moss was filed by Rachelle
Washington and requires the New England Patriots wide receiver
to keep out 500 feet from the woman. She accuses Moss of
battery, causing serious injury, but no criminal charges have
been brought against Moss yet. The future of Randy Moss with the
Patriots also remains unknown, he is scheduled to become a free
agent in less than a month and according to reports, no talks
have been initiated by the Patriots yet to keep the
record-breaking wide receiver with the New England team.
