Daytona-500: Dale
Earnhardt Jr. now odds favorite to win
A day before the Daytona 500
NASCAR opener, Dale Earnhardt Jr. becomes favorite to win the
race.
After
running head to head with teammate Jeff Gordon throughout the
whole week, today Dale Earnhardt Jr. is the odds favorite to
win the Daytona 500 race on Sunday. At the online sportsbook
Bodog Sports, Dale Earnhardt
Jr. and Jeff Gordon were listed with odds to win the race at
5/1, but late last night the odds on Earnhardt Jr. to win the
Daytona-500 race were cut down to 4/1, making him the lone
favorite. Jeff Gordon remains with odds 5/1 to win, but the odds
on Jimmie Johnson, who won the pole position, were cut down from
6/1 to 5/1 now. Also with odds 5/1 is Tony Stewart, followed by
Denny Hamlin with odds to win the Daytona 500 race at 10/1.
TV coverage from the Daytona
International Speedway will start on Sunday at 2:00pm EST on
Fox.
