Results: Darren McFadden among the most impressive

or NFL Scouting Combine is almost over, Arkansas running back
Darren McFadden among top prospects.
Today
the NFL Combine continues and the latest 40-yard dash results
are finally out. Among the most impressive prospects this year
remains the former Arkansas running back Darren McFadden, who
finished the 40-yard dash Sunday at 4.33-seconds on the official
clock and ran a blazing unofficial 4.27 40-yard dash.
Chris Johnson of East Carolina ran the
fastest official 40-yard dash, finishing the sprint in 4.27
seconds. The fastest unofficial 40-yard dash belonged to wide
receiver Dexter Jackson from Appalachian State at 4.24, but his
official clock stopped at 4.37 seconds, tied for the second
spot. Among the wide receivers at the NFL Combine, the fastest
was California's DeSean Jackson with a 4.35 40-yard dash,
followed by Florida's Andre Caldwell, Missouri's Will Franklin
and Dexter Jackson, all tied for the second spot with 4.37
seconds.
