Ashley Alexandra Dupre (Kristen) the one who brought down Spitzer

Ashley Alexandra Dupre (Kristen) the one who brought down Spitzer The prostitute who brought down NY Governor Eliot Spitzer, mentioned in the Feds affidavit as "Kristen", has been identified as Ashley Alexandra Dupre. According to the New York Times, Ashley Dupre came to New York from New Jersey to work the nightclubs as a singer at the young age of 17. A person with knowledge of the Emperor’s Club operation confirmed to the paper that Ashley Dupre was indeed the woman identified as Kristen in the affidavit. "I am all about my music and my music is all about me. It flows from what I’ve been through, what I’ve seen and how I feel," read the MySpace page of Ashley Dupre. The photo on this page is one of the many pictures of Miss Dupre she posted on her Internet page.

Ashley Dupre is one of the key witnesses in the federal case against four people charged with operating a prostitution ring called the Emperor’s Club VIP, the same case which ended the career of the New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer. The Governor, referred to as Client 9 during the phone calls, was caught on tape "employing" the services of the prostitute by the name of Kristen. After the scandal broke, Spitzer resigned from office and is facing criminal charges.
