Powerball lottery winner takes home over $275 million There was one winner of the Powerball lottery this weekend and the lucky millionaire is from West Virginia. Only one of the tickets sold matched all five numbers and the Powerball winning the jackpot worth $276.3 million. Reports indicate that the Powerball winner bought the ticket in West Virginia, but at this time no one has come forward to claim the prize yet. The winning numbers of the Saturday's Powerball lottery were 6-22-42-43-47 and the Powerball number was 16.

There were twelve tickets which matched all five numbers, but missed the Powerball. They were sold in the following states: Arizona, Colorado, Kentucky (two), Louisiana, Minnesota, North Carolina (two), Pennsylvania (three) and Wisconsin, and the winners will collect $200,000 each. The jackpot for the next drawing of the Powerball lottery will be reset and is expected to reach about $15 million for the Wednesday drawing.
