Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry became parents to baby girl

Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry became parents to baby girl Actress Halle Berry gave birth on Sunday morning to a healthy baby girl at Cedars Sinai hospital in Los Angeles. The father is Berry's boyfriend and Canadian model Gabriel Aubry. According to Halle Berry's publicist, both the mom and the baby girl are doing just fine, although the name of the baby has not been released yet. Halle Berry had said in the past that, while she and Aubry hadn't picked out a first name yet, their child would take her dad's last name. This is the actress' first child.

Halle Berry and French-Canadian model Gabriel Aubry were first reported dating in November of 2005, after they met at a Versace photoshoot. In the past Halle Berry has indicated she plans an adoption, if it's not possible naturally, a plan accepted by Gabriel Aubry, who lived in five foster families during his childhood. Halle Berry has been married twice before - to baseball star David Justice and singer Eric Benet, and she has been quoted numerous times that she doesn't have to be married to be happy.
