Dancing with the
Stars Results: Two couples eliminated
The
sixth season of the popular reality show "Dancing with the
Stars" is on and the results of the first elimination round saw
two stars voted off. It was the double-elimination show, Penn
Jillette and Monica Seles become the first two celebrities to be
voted off Dancing with the Stars. Magician Penn Jillette, who
was partnered with professional dancer Kym Johnson, received low
scores from the judges in their first two performances which led
to few votes from the viewers and he was accurately the first to
leave the dancing competition, after the results from the public
vote were announced. With 33 points of the maximum
possible 60, Jillette became the lowest-scoring male performer
on Dancing with the Stars and rightly was voted off the show.
Penn was listed with odds 18/1 to win "Dancing with the Stars"
at the online bookmaker
BodogLife.
The grass wasn't any greener for tennis
player Monica Seles - she was the second celeb eliminated from
Dancing with the Stars last night. Seles was partnered with
pro-dancer Jonathan Roberts, but failed to get the points and
the votes, with her result of 30 points Monica Seles was
eliminated from Dancing with the Stars. Quite a surprise,
considering Seles was listed with great odds 8/1 to win the
competition at Bodog Life.
After the results round of the show we
are now down to ten contestants - Adam Carolla, Jason Taylor,
Kristi Yamaguchi, Mario, Steve Guttenberg, Shannon Elizabeth,
Christian de la Fuente, Marlee Matlin, Priscilla Presley and
Marissa Jaret Winokur. The next round of Dancing With The Stars
will be on Monday and Kristi Yamaguchi remains the favorite
contender for the Dancing with the Stars title with odds 11/4 at
BodogLife. Underdog is still Adam Carolla at 25/1, followed by
Steve Guttenberg at 20/1. Visit
BodogLife for the full list of
betting odds on "Dancing with the Stars" season six.
