According to the reports, Jessica Simpson was admitted to the Cedars-Sinai Medical Center suffering from a minor kidney infection. Simpson was released from the hospital shortly after and her representative Lauren Auslander says the star was doing much better. The exact date of Simpson's admission to the hospital remains unknown, although some gossip magazines claim she has been in the hospital since Friday.

Dallas Cowboy boyfriend Tony Romo wasn't by her side in the hospital, he was tied up with prior commitment in Dallas.
