Jimi Hendrix sex
tape to be released by Vivid Entertainment
Vivid
Entertainment, the folks behind Pamela Anderson, Tommy Lee and
Kim Kardashian sex tapes, is allegedly going to release a Jimi
Hendrix sex tape. According to Vivid Entertainment, the film,
which has no audio, allegedly shows Hendrix having sex with two
women in a dimly-lit bedroom. The full face of the man alleged
to be guitar legend Jimi Hendrix shows on the sex tape for only
a brief second, with closed eyes, but the actual identity of the
man portrayed to be Hendrix is being disputed by experts and
former associates already. "I believe that we did our due
diligence, and as a result of that clearly believe that it’s
him. If they said that it wasn’t him, I would never have put it
out," was the response of Steven Hirsch, Vivid’s
co-chairman. The company said that after an extensive inquiry
led by private detective agencies, it stands by the Hendrix film
as the real thing.
Vivid has named the 45-minute long DVD "Jimi
Hendrix the Sex Tape" and plans to offer it for sale online and
at the stores for $39.95. According to reports, the tape will
feature about 11 minutes of sex footage and the rest will be
dedicated to Hendrix’s career in the 60s, music excluded. Vivid
Entertainment is the same adult video company behind the
blockbuster sex tapes of Pamela Anderson and Kim Kardashian.
