Michelle Duggar - an Arkansas woman who is pregnant with her
18th child. The 41-year-old woman is six months pregnant with
her 18th child and is doing fine, the baby is due on New Year's
Day. "We've had three in January, three in December. Those
two months are a busy time for us," the woman explained
through laughter. The 20th member of the Arkansas family will
join seven sisters and 10 brothers (with two sets of twins). And
just when you thought it couldn't get any more weird - all of
the children's names start with the letter "J". "The success
in a family is first off, a love for God, and secondly, treating
each other like you want to be treated. Our goal is for each one
of our children to be best friends, and everybody working
together to serve each other makes that happen," the father
of the 18, Jim Bob Duggar was quoted.
Michelle Duggar has been been pregnant
for more than 11 years of her life, which caught the attention
of the Discovery Channel and the family is now filming a new
show on the spin-off Discovery Health. Jim and Michelle Duggar,
however, have a long way to go to match the record of Russian
Feodor Vassilyev, who in the 18th century fathered 69 children
with his firs wife alone - 16 pairs of twins, seven sets of
triplets and four sets of quadruplets, all born in the timeframe
of 40 years.
