Euro 2008 Group C
Odds: Italy, France and Holland in dead heat
We continue our Euro 2008 betting odds preview with Group C,
notably the toughest group in this year's European football
championship. Teams in Group C are Italy, France, Holland and
Romania, without a doubt the first three teams will battle for
supremacy, but don't rule out the Romanians just yet (remember
Greece?). At the British-licensed online bookmaker
Bet 365 the odds on Group C
currently favour Italy and France to be the top 2 teams to
continue further into the Euro 2008 quarter-finals. The odds on
Italy to win Group C are posted at 6/4, while France is sitting
on odds 2/1 to win the group with the bookie. Holland is close
behind with odds 11/4 and Romania is the underdog of Group C
with odds to win the top spot at 10/1.
The forecast of the odds makers for
Group C is as follows: 1st - Italy 2nd - France with odds 9/2,
1st - France 2nd - Italy 5/1, 1st - Italy 2nd - Holland 11/2 and
1st - France 2nd - Holland 13/2. You can also bet on the chances
of a team in Group C to qualify for the Euro 2008 quarter-finals
(note, to take 1st or 2nd place, rather than winning the group),
where Italy is listed with odds 2/5, France is at 8/5, Holland
comes third with odds 4/5 and the odds on Romania to qualify
further are 7/2. Visit
