New payment
methods required at the online casinos
Interest in online gambling, including at the online
casinos, is at danger of declining even further, due to the lack
of payment methods. Most online casinos support the well-known
Neteller, Citadel, Moneybookers, etc, but those e-wallets do not
allow U.S. customers, which is poisoning the industry in North
America. According to some industry estimates, the current
deposits at the online casinos range from 70% to 40% of the
deposits (amount) the online gambling websites took
before the U.S. Government scared away the most popular
e-wallets.
The options in front of players in the
U.S. who are interested in depositing money at the casinos are
now severely limited to credit card, bank draft and money
transfer. The problem, however, is that the credit card
processors utilized by the online casinos are far below par,
failing to process as much as 50% of the attempts by gamblers.
Quite a few casinos online offer the choice of bank draft
deposits (Bodog,
for example), which is a great method, but not all gambling
websites manage to implement it. The money transfers are just
plain burdensome for most of the gamblers and are seldom used.
New payment methods are clearly required if the online casinos
desire to continue their growth in the future.
