Eurovision 2007: Odds on which country will win
Eurovision 2007 is the most colourful music
event in Europe, and the latest betting odds on who will win the
Eurovision 2007 are out.
The competition takes place today in Helsinki,
and it will be watched live by millions of Europeans. The
British betting website
BlueSQ has long
announced the odds for each country, but we saw a little change
today for some of the competing countries. Ukraine is by far the
most favorite to win the Eurovision 2007 song contest with
betting odds of 3/1, followed by Russia and Serbia with 4/1. The
odds for Bulgaria did improve, now at 10/1, compared with 14/1 a
day ago. Belarus has betting odds 6/1 to win Eurovision and
Latvia's six-piece tenor vocal group, Bonaparti.lv has 7/1.
It is clear that the U.K. bookmakers are
confident that the song competition will be won by a country
from Eastern Europe, as Sweden has the best odds among the
Western part of Europe with 17/2. United Kingdom with odds 50/1
have the unenviable task of following Verka. Their slick,
colourful routine may catch a few eyes, but the comedy
cross-dresser could steal their novelty thunder.
The Eurovision 2007 starts shortly in Finland,
Europe, and you can watch it live at every country across the
Old Continent.
