FA Cup Final: Chelsea and Manchester United
Tomorrow is the final of the FA Cup, Chelsea
and Manchester United are expected to put the best football show
this year so far.
Sir
Alex Ferguson said today that he hopes that the winner will not
be decided by penalty shoot-out, and he fears that Manchester
United will loose yet another FA Cup to a shoot-out. In 2005
Manchester Utd. were beaten by Arsenal at the penalty shoot-outs
for the FA Cup. In 2006 the FA Cup winner was also decided by
spot-kicks when Liverpool won over West Ham.
The last time Chelsea won the FA Cup was in
2000, and Manchester United took the trophy in 2004.
We took a final look at which U.K. bookmaker
has the best odds for the clash, and to no surprise, it is still
Bet365 (new window). The
British online betting website offers 3.00 if Chelsea wins the
FA Cup, and 3.00 for a draw during regular time. Manchester
United is the favorite, according to the odds maker, with 2.75
for a win. Bet365 offers many ways to bet, including correct
score, half-time/full-time total goals, and much more, and they
will take live bets during the game, as well.
The FA Cup final is on May 19th at Wembley,
and the kick-off time is 15:00 BST.
