Venus Williams (23rd) met Marion Bartoli (20th) on Saturday at the Wimbledon women final, and won over the French 6-4, 6-1. It took Venus less than one hour and thirty minutes to win her fourth Championship.

Venus Williams was never favorite to win the 2007 Wimbledon by the sportsbooks. But after the Justine Henin upset, the odds turned to her favor. For the Wimbledon final, her odds on beating Marion Bartoli were 1/5.

Venus Williams will not only take home the trophy, but a cool £700,000 will be added to her bank account, as well.
