arrested on drug charges in Ohio
The NASCAR Craftsman
Truck Series driver Aaron Fike and his fiancee, Cassandra
Davidson, arrested on drug possession charges.
The
24-year-old NASCAR truck driver Aaron Fike was arrested on
Saturday, along with his fiancee Cassandra Davidson, in an
amusement park parking lot. An employee of Kings Island
amusement park near Cincinnati phoned the police, after noticing
suspicious activity in a Toyota SUV, which later turned out to
belong to the NASCAR Craftsman Aaron Fike.
Both him and Cassandra Davidson were in the SUV when the
police arrived. After searching the vehicle, the cops found a
substance believed to be heroin. The young couple was arrested
on drug and paraphernalia possession charges. Fike and Davidson
remained in Warren County Jail on Sunday, as bond had not been
set.
Fike drives the No. 1 Toyota Tundra for
"Red Horse Racing" in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. Aaron Fike is currently
eight in the
driver standings with 1,487. A statement from his team
management read: "We are working with NASCAR to obtain further
information on the incident and will release more information as
the facts become available to us."
