Rapper Remy Ma
wanted in Manhattan shooting incident
The New York rapper "Remy Ma"
(Remy Smith) is sought after by the police in connection with a
shooting in Manhattan.
The
Bronx rapper Remy-Ma is sought after by the NYPD in connection
with a shooting incident in Manhattan which left one woman in
the hospital. The shooting took place on West 14th St and
Washington Street around 4am on Saturday. A 911-call led to the
discovery of the woman, which was shot in the torso, but in
stable condition.
According to rumors, Remy Ma and members
of her entourage were involved in a dispute, and the rapper
pulled out a gun and shot the woman. Police are now in search
for the shooter who is said to be a 27-year-old black female,
about 5’10” and wearing all dark clothing. Remy was said to have
fled the scene in a dark blue Escalade, which she crashed a few
blocks later, escaping on foot.
Remy Ma is a protégé of the late Big
Pun, and her new album The BX Files is scheduled for release at
the end of August.
