Ryan Seacrest
will host the Emmys in September
The host of "American Idol"
Ryan Seacrest will also introduce the 59th Primetime Emmy
Awards.
The
Fox network has decided to make Ryan Seacrest the host of this
year's Emmy Awards, which will air on September 16th. According
to the network, Seacrest does a great job in attracting younger
audience, as shown by the American Idol ratings. Fox is also
trying to beat the NBC 16 million Emmy viewers last year, and
using Ryan Seacrest is part of the plan.
This year's Emmys will be held on
September 16th, and HBO is expected to take the bigger piece of
the pie. "The Sopranos" broke the record for most nominated
series at 15, and “Bury My Heart at Wounded Knee” with its 17
nominations leads among all the programs.
Of course, the tradition of betting on
