NFL Playoffs 2013:
49ers vs. Falcons odds and point spread
Just a couple of days left before we find out which two NFL
teams will face each other in the 2013 Super Bowl, today we will
take a look at the current odds and point spread on the first
conference championship, the game between the San Francisco
49ers and the Atlanta Falcons. The Falcons have been
beating teams left and right this season and even though they
missed the perfect record, they have proven over and over that
this year they are a football force to be reckoned with. And
while the 49ers are no joke either, everyone agrees that San
Francisco will have a very hard time, especially since the
Falcons will play in front of home crowd and if you've ever been
at the Georgia Dome, you know it could get rather loud and
rowdy.
But as good as all this sounds to the
Falcons' fans, the sportsbooks are firmly standing behind the
49ers to deliver on Sunday and put San Francisco on the path to
Super Bowl glory. Starting with the betting odds at the popular
offshore sportsbook
Bookmaker, the 49ers are -205
favorite, while the Falcons will come out on the field this
weekend holding underdog odds of +175. The odds are a slightly
different at the online bookie
5Dimes, where the 49ers are
"just" -200 favorite and the odds on the Falcons to make it to
the Super Bowl are at +170. These are better odds for those
willing to bet the favorite 49ers and if you are looking for a
surprise upset this weekend, go with Bookmaker for the better
underdog odds. The San Francisco 49ers vs. Atlanta Falcons
point spread is currently at -4 chalk the 49ers at all
sportsbooks.
Keep in mind that the NFL stats show
that San Francisco is 1-4 straight up in its last 5 games when
playing Atlanta and the total has gone UNDER in 5 of San
Francisco's last 7 games when playing the Falcons. Meanwhile
Atlanta is 2-4 against the spread in its last 6 games when
playing at home against the 49ers.
