Saint Louis Rams:
Betting odds, lines and futures
Head coach Scott Linehan
will have to work hard on the Saint Louis Rams defense to see a
playoff this football season.
Last season's St. Louis Rams record of 8-8 was the most
accurate reflection of the team's performance. The offense was
good, ranking sixth overall in the league, but the defense needs
a lot of improvement after being ranked 23rd last football
season. Head coach Scott Linehan will enter his second year on
the wheel with the Rams and the team has a solid quarterback in
the face of Marc Bulger. Now only if he could get a strong
offensive line to prevent the constant sacking, the bettors will
be looking forward to a big point spread.
The St. Louis Rams lost their preseason
opener 30-13 to the San Diego Chargers, Marques Hagans took a
seven-yard pass from Gus Frerotte for the only Rams TD in the
loss. The following game the Rams downed the Kansas City Chiefs
10-3 at Edward Jones Dome. Ryan Fitzpatrick completed 12-of-16
pass attempts for 105 yards for St. Louis, and Hagans carried
the ball four times for 53 yards in the victory. And the Raiders
defeated the St. Louis Rams 20-10 in the preseason finale. Gus
Frerotte went 10-for-18 for 108 yards and a touchdown, while
Isaac Bruce caught four passes for 77 yards for the Rams.
Following the last season and the
preseason, not surprisingly the betting odds on the Saint Louis
Rams have them underdog for every major football competition
this season. This is the latest list of future betting odds on
