Keep in mind that stats show us that Washington is 2-3-2 against the spread in its last 7 games when playing San Francisco, but the 49ers have covered the point spread 5 times in their last 7 games. The total has gone OVER in 4 of the Redskins' last 5 games and OVER in 15 of San Francisco's last 21 games.

 Injuries may become a big issue for the teams, however. While the Redskins have listed only tight end Jordan Reed as out for the Monday night football game, defensive end Stephen Bowen, safety Jose Gumbs and running back Darrel Young remain questionable for Washington. Good news for the 49ers is that starting quarterback Colin Kaepernick has been upgraded to probable, following a back injury, along with running back Frank Gore, linebacker Dan Skuta and DT Justin Smith. But the San Francisco 49ers will play without corner Tarell Brown and wide receiver Quinton Patton. Another WD, Mario Manningham, along with tight end Garrett Celek and defensive tackle Ray McDonald remain questionable for the San Francisco - Washington game tonight.
