Heavyweight Title bout between the Russian Sultan Ibragimov and
the American Evander Holyfield, who filled in the card after WBA
champion Ruslan Chagaev withdrew from the fight. Both big names
in boxing but will Holyfield have the agility to win himself a
great 45-birthday present or will the age overcome the
experience?

a look at the betting odds offered by two of the most popular
online sportsbooks -
Bookmaker and
Bodog Sports. And the expert
odds makers unanimously agree that Sultan Ibragimov will win the
Saturday WBO fight. The Russian is listed as favorite with odds
-425 at Bookmaker and and -450 at Bodog Sports. The Alabama-born
Holyfield is a big underdog with odds +345 at Bookmaker, but
Bodog is being more cautious and has posted odds on Evander
Holyfield of +300 to win. Bettors at both bookies are expecting
a great and long fight, the number of total rounds for the
Ibragimov vs. Holyfield fight is listed at 10.5 rounds with OVER
that number paying -125 and UNDER only -105.
Evander Holyfield has won 4 of his last
4 fights since he returned on the boxing scene more actively in
2006 - two wins by TKO against Jeremy Bates (2006) and Vincent
Maddalone (2007) and two bouts by unanimous decision against
Fres Oquendo (2006) and Lou Savarese in June of this year.
Sultan Ibragimov is sitting on a 21-0-1 record and did two
fights this year - unanimous decision against Shannon Briggs in
June and a TKO against Javier Mora in March.
The Ibragimov vs. Holyfield fight will
take place at Khodynka Arena in Moscow, Russia on October 13th.
