New England
Patriots sideline Morris and Watson for Miami visit
The Patriots have ruled out
Benjamin Watson and Sammy Morris for the game against the Miami
Dolphins.
The
New England Patriots sidelined the running back Sammy Morris and
tight end Benjamin Watson for the Sunday match-up against the
Miami Dolphins. Both players were reported as doubtful earlier.
Morris became the Pats leading rusher with 384 yards after
replacing injured Laurence Maroney last month. But Morris
suffered a chest injury last week and Maroney is now
questionable against the Dolphins. Benjamin Watson with five
touchdowns this season also suffered injury against the Cowboys
and will miss Week 7 football.
For the Patriots Eric Alexander, Mel
Mitchell and Mike Wright were also ruled out for the game. The
Dolphins will play without Trent Green, who is out for the
season, as well as DT Vonnie Holliday DT and S Travares Tillman.
Dolphins TE David Martin and LB Zach Thomas remain questionable.
At
Bookmaker the Pats are still
favorite with odds -1700, the odds on the Dolphins have slightly
improved over the week from +1250 to +1100 and the spread is now
favoring the Patriots -16 points, half a point down since
Wednesday. The NFL Week 7 game between the Patriots and the
Dolphins remains the most bet on event this weekend, New England
as the favorite pick.
