Week 10 college
point spread: Wisconsin vs. Ohio State, Wake Forest at Virginia
Preview of the betting odds
and point spread on the college football games from Week 10
Wisconsin vs. Ohio State and Wake Forest vs. Virginia.
There
are a lot of interesting college football games during Week 10
and certainly plenty of good betting match-ups. One of those
games bound to take a big percentage of the wagers this week is
the college football game between No.21 Wisconsin (7-2)
and No.1 Ohio State (9-0). Wisconsin got into the BCS
Standings this week after beating Indiana 3-33 at home and
everyone is watching Ohio State to see if they will continue
their winning streak, and if not, who will they lose to for the
first time this season. At the betting website
Bookmaker, the Buckeyes are
once again favorite by a wide margin listed with odds on winning
the game at -725, Wisconsin are dog with odds +575. The point
spread on the Wisconsin vs. Ohio State game is currently
favoring the Buckeyes -16.5 points (-17 at
Bodog Sports) and the total
posted is 44 points.
Wisconsin is 2-4 against the spread in its
last 6 games and Ohio State is 5-2 ATS in its last 7 games. In
the last 7 games those two college football teams met, Wisconsin
was 6-1 against the spread, but the last game was in 2004, which
the Badgers won 24-13. Buckeyes DE Lawrence Wilson and LB Ross
Homan are out indefinitely, but the rest of the team is reported
as healthy. Due to disciplinary punishments the Badgers will
miss DL Jamal Cooper indefinitely and running back Lance Smith
for Week 10. Questionable for the match-up with Ohio State
remain LB Jaevery McFadden and G Andy Kemp, but RB P.J. Hill has
been upgraded to probable. Overall, Ohio State should win the
game and could certainly cover the -16.5 spread against the
Wisconsin's 34-ranked defense.
You want to see the first Pick in the college
football season - look no further than the game between Wake
Forest (6-2) and Virginia (7-2). The odds makers at
Bookmaker have listed the
point spread on the Wake Forest vs. Virginia game as Pick,
there is no favorite or underdog in this game at the bookie and
a win by either team will pay out -110 money line. A great bet
for Week 10, whichever team wins, they are also automatically
covering the spread - take advantage and double your winning.
And if you insist on a point spread, at
Bodog Sports it's sitting at -1
point chalk Wake Forest. Virginia is 6-2 against the spread in
its last 8 games at home, Wake Forest is 4-1 ATS in its last 5
games. Wake Forest wide receiver Marshall Williams is
questionable for Week 10, but Cavaliers' WR Kevin Ogletree is
out for the season. Also questionable for Virginia remain RB
Cedric Peerman, FB Rashawn Jackson, CB Chris Cook and TE Tom
Santi.
