NFL Week 11
spread: Redskins vs. Cowboys, Chicago at Seattle
The odds and point spread
preview of the NFL Week 11 games Washington Redskins vs. Dallas
Cowboys and Chicago Bears vs. Seattle Seahawks.
We
are closing our NFL Week 11 point spread and betting previews
with two top games. In the first one, the Washington Redskins
(5-4) will visit the Dallas Cowboys (8-1) for an all NFC
East battle. According to the online sportsbook
Bodog Sports, there will be no
surprises during this Week 11 football game and the point
spread on the Washington Redskins vs. Dallas Cowboys game is
currently sitting at -11.5 points chalk the 'Boys with expected
total of 47 points. The betting trends are on the Cowboys side -
Dallas is 8-2 against the spread in its last 10 games and
Washington is 0-4-1 against the spread in its last 5 games.
The Washington Redskins started the
season with high hopes, which were brought down later by
inconsistent game. The Dallas Cowboys, on the other side, are
coming out strong against every team this season, losing only to
the Patriots. So far each of the two teams will play on Sunday
without a wide receiver - James Thrash for the Redskins and
Terry Glenn for the Cowboys; the rest of the players have been
upgraded to probable. The Dallas Cowboys have beaten most of
their opponents by 10 points or more this season and it's likely
they will cover the -11.5 points spread against the Redskins.
Another very interesting game this
Sunday will match the Chicago Bears (4-5) and the
Seattle Seahawks (5-4). The Bears won their last game
against the Raiders 17-6 and Seattle gave no chance to the 49ers
0-24 and the Week 11 game is a must win for both teams - Chicago
need to keep their playoff dream alive with the Lions playing
the Giants this weekend and Seattle to stay atop of the NFC
West. At
Bodog Sports the point
spread on the Chicago Bears vs. Seattle Seahawks is posted
at 5.5 points chalk the Seahawks, who are also odds-favorite
with money line -250 and the Bears posted as underdog with
betting odds +210. Betting trends show that Chicago is 7-3
against the spread in its last 10 games on the road and Seattle
is 1-4 against the spread in its last 5 games when playing
Chicago.
In Chicago QB Brian Griese and safety
Brandon McGowan were upgraded to probable for the game against
the Seahawks, but DT Tommie Harris and CB Nathan Vasher remain
questionable. The Seattle Seahawks, however, may fail to cover
the -5.5 points spread with a long list of players still
questionable for the game against the Bears. That list includes
DEs Baraka Atkins and Darryl Tapp, Ts Walter Jones and Ray
Willis, wide receiver Deion Branch and running back Shaun
Alexander. The lack of these key players this Sunday could turn
the game against the bookie.
