Titans vs.
Broncos: Point spread, odds and preview
The latest point spread and
betting odds on the Monday night football game between the
Tennessee Titans and the Denver Broncos.
In
our final NFL Week 11 point spread and betting odds preview we
will look into the Monday night football game between the
Tennessee Titans (6-3) and the Denver Broncos (4-5).
The Titans are coming out of a 23-18 loss at home against their
AFC South rival the Jacksonville Jaguars, who currently hold the
second spot, after beating the Chargers 17-24 and the Broncos
scored a much needed victory over the Chiefs last week 27-11 to
hold on to the second position on the AFC West table, right
behind the Chargers. Only one game behind first-place San Diego
in the AFC West, the Denver Broncos will have the opportunity to
snatch this must win game at home and the odds makers are siding
with the Broncos. At the online sportsbook
Bodog Sports the point
spread on the Tennessee Titans vs. Denver Broncos game is
currently favoring the Broncos -1 point.
But the bettors seem to be taking
different approach at
Bookmaker.com, ranking the
Monday night football game the most bet on even, but the
majority of the punters are making the Titans their favorite
pick. At the bookie the Broncos are also favorite with odds on
winning the football game at -125 and the Titans are underdog
with odds +105, with the point spread -1.5 points chalk the
Broncos. Keep in mind that Tennessee is 2-4 against the spread
in its last 6 games and Denver is 1-10 against the spread in its
last 11 games at home.
In Week 11 the Tennessee Titans will
once again rely on their top-tier defense, ranked second in the
league by yards allowed at 269.8 and 7th in point allowed, only
16.9 points on average per game. Offensively, the Denver Broncos
are leading the Titans in yards with 345.8 per game, but often
fail to bank on it, ranked 25th with only 17 points scored per
game. Things don't look good for the Broncos on the injury
front, and although most of the injured players have been
upgraded to probable, back-up quarterback Paul Smith and running
back Travis Henry are still questionable for the game against
Tennessee and wide receiver Javon Walker will be out in Week 11
with knee injury. Questionable for the Titans remain DT Albert
Haynesworth and CB Nicholas Harper.
