US Open odds
change right before tee off
Today
is the tee off time marking the start of the 2008 U.S. Open golf
tourney and the odds have slightly changed. Throughout the week
, despite rumors and speculations, the betting odds on the U.S.
Open did not move an inch, but today, right before tee time the
bookmakers decided it was time. Tiger Woods is still the
favorite to win the U.S. Open golf championship, but his odds
were cut down a bit at the online sportsbook
BodogSports. Yesterday the
world's No.1 was 5/2 to win the golf tournament and today he is
down to 2/1. Phil Mickelson also saw better odds this morning -
the No.2 went from 7/1 to win the Open down to 5/1 with the odds
makers. Sergio Garcia picked up a point and his odds to win the
2008 U.S. Open are now 16/1 from previously 17/1. Finally,
Padraig Harrington is now listed with odds 20/1 to win the U.S.
Open, previously at 22/1. Visit the bookie for the full list of
U.S. Open odds.
