Toilet paper
wedding dress - Believe it or not
With
the economy in turmoil, people find more and more creative ways
to save a buck, but would you wear a toilet paper wedding dress?
The judges from Ripley's Believe It Or Not in Times Square
announced the winner of the fourth annual Cheap and Chic Toilet
Paper Wedding Dress Contest - Katrina Chalifoux of Rockford,
Illinois. Six wedding dresses, made entirely of toilet paper
(unused of course), were displayed at Ripley's Believe It or
Not! in New York's Times Square and the judges from Charmin,
Ripley's Believe It or Not, and Cheap-Chic-Weddings.com had the
tough task of picking out the best. The grand prize of $1,000
went to Katrina Chalifoux, who spent two weeks and seven rolls
of toilet paper to create the winning wedding dress (see
picture). Terro Glover of Marlin, Texas, is the second-prize
winner and Ann Lee, of Honolulu, Hawaii, placed third.
