Odds at the
sportsbooks on next NFL player to be arrested
The unfavorable opinion of the NFL towards gambling and
mainly sports betting has long been known and now the
sportsbooks are given the opportunity to take a few jabs back at
the football league. As anyone remotely interested in sports
realizes, there is hardly a week gone by without a sports figure
doing something illegal. And unfortunately the NFL players now
make the large portion of the athletes arrested on various
charges. Jumping at the opportunity this unfortunate trends is
giving them, the online sportsbooks have now posted odds on the
next NFL player to be arrested.
At the online sports betting website
Bookmaker, Corey McIntyre from
the Buffalo Bills is currently leading the fellow football
players with the shortest odds to be booked first at +350,
meaning that if the Bills FB gets arrested first, the bookmaker
will pay out $350 on every $100 wagered. "Competition" at the
sportsbook for McIntyre comes from three other NFL players -
Dolphins defensive end Randy Starks, Tampa Bay wide receiver
Anthony Mix and Saints wide receiver Ealy. All three NFL players
are sitting on odds +450 to be the next NFL player to get
arrested, charges don't matter. The "good boy" of the betting
sheet is the Buffalo Bills running back Marshawn Lynch, who
should feel pretty secure with odds +800 on a booking this
season.
Pocking more fun at the NFL, the odds
makers at Bookmaker have also published a small list of female
celebrities which NFL quarterback Toni Romo could date this
season. According to the sportsbook, actresses Amy Adams and
Megan Fox have the best chance replacing Simpson with odds +350.
Much to the relief of our entire office (male and female, yeah,
we roll like that), the G4's Attack of the Show hostess Olivia
Munn is among the underdogs to sign up with Romo for the season
at +500 odds. Visit
Bookmaker for more
entertainment odds or to bet on the upcoming NFL season.
