From Richard: I've been many times, the food is good and the service is good, the gaming area is always clean and the staff is always ready to help with any problems or questions or concerns customers may have.

From Andre: We liked it so much we are going back again this week. The food at the buffet is fabulous, the lodge is wonderful and they have a large non-smoking area with slots. Definitely worth checking out!

From Anna: There is no money to be one there, The machines are VERY tight. Also the drink servers rarely even come around and when they do they are not friendly at all. However the food is good.

From Adrian: They have an awesome environment. The servers are nice and always there. Slot attendants are extremely helpful and the dealers are top notch, the best I have ever seen.

From Sophie: I really like to play blackjack here, however if you play slots stay far far away. There's no money to be had.

From Kevin: Visited Jackson Rancheria last Christmas and had a nice time. It was surprisingly packed! The machines paid odds that are consistent with most other casinos. The food court was overwhelmed and not able to accommodate customers that night. I wanted to complain but it was Christmas and realized that the employees were probably not very happy to be there anyways. The hotel was nice and there was plenty of parking, even though it was packed.

From DeAnn: They really need to do something about the excessive smoke. The non smoke free room is not that big, and you feel confined, maybe they should invest in some bigger exhaust fans, so the non smokers can enjoy the larger areas also. It is an awesome casino with a large variety of games.

From Richard: Its big, clean, excellent security, plenty of variety of slots, excellent food and service, its an all around good experience.

From Richard: Very tight slots. Lose hundreds, win nothing. Don't mind losing but would like to get to play a little on my money. Easy to lose $200-$300 on quarters in an hour and never get a single drink. Better off driving the extra hour and a half to go to Reno where they at least give you a bottle of water when you want one! Took me three years to get a bottle of water at Thunder Valley and the waitress was rude.

From Amy: Machines are getting tighter and tighter. Have been going there since soon after it opened. Used to be able to play for a while on the money we took...now we take extra, and still lose -- VERY quickly...definitely getting worse as time goes on. Buffet is GREAT...especially breakfast.

From Eli: I used to play as a "regular" for 4+ years at the 101 casino in Petaluma. I played 5-6 days a week grinding it out making a comfortable living. Overtime the place started becoming less and less appealing to me. First off, the wait to get onto a NL table can sometimes take around 2 or 2 and a half hours. SO BRING A BOOK. Until a month ago, you were not allowed to call and put your name on the board in advance. Just like Cheers EVERYONE KNOWS YOUR NAME there. The play is aggressive, but there is good money to be made. Although, a lot of players know each other and "do not play AT each other". They stay out of each others ways, and kick each other under the table when they have a strong hand. I should know, I used to be one of these players. Then others would break that "code" after agreeing to it, and cause a whole bunch of " off the table drama". Overtime, I realized this is not how I want to play my poker game and have moved to a different card room in the Bay Area. This "collusion" doesn't happen in every game, just mainly in the NL games between the "regulars". The HOUSE RULES have changed frequently in the four or five years I had been playing there. Rules that deal with exposed cards, dead cards, etc...The Floorman all have different interpretations on what the rules are, so it is impossible to ever have a consistent ruling. This has irritated many people there and caused even some of the regulars to find other places to play. The staff is very FRIENDLY though, and they have some of the BEST dealers in the Bay Area. Every once in a while you will run into a celebrity there. I've sat down and played in games there with Larry Allen, Sean Penn, Brian Watkins, and even Antonio Esfendari once! THE new RENOVATION is great! If your looking for a NL game with higher stakes ($100-$500, $300-$1000, $1000-no max) and lots of action, this is a good place to play. But just be weary of the "collusion" between regulars.
